Fort Warwick

Do you have ancestors who were at Warwick's Fort or other forts in Pocahontas County, participated in the local militia, or otherwise participated in the defense of the frontier in the 1770s and 1780s?  We are compiling a database of such persons for research and a booklet, and would love to add your ancestors, or any family stories.  Please contact Dr. Kim Arbogast McBride.
